I’ve been able to forge dynamic, detailed characters from Gabrielle’s fascinating process - most recently Angels in America at the National Theatre where she offered guidance to unlock the physical language of a complex role.

I learnt a new way of working and approaching any character. Her teachings transformed the way I work, working from the inside out, being physically in the right place to layer a character giving it more detail
We are a UK theatre company, based in West Berkshire, led by movement director Gabrielle Moleta. We make theatre with a unique starting point of animal observation to create intimate stories that emerge from painstaking physical exploration.
Between us our members and fellow collaborators have performed across the world, featured in major motion pictures, on the BBC, the West End, Cheek by Jowl and more than one National Theatre, and worked with European luminaries such as Jan Fabre and Willi Dorner.
We work with like-minded international creatives to make rich, surprising and physically extraordinary theatre that gently dissolves the boundaries between the human and the natural world.
We are also grateful for recent and current support in the development of future projects from Gulbenkian, Flourishing Diversity and 101 Outdoor Arts Creation Space
We are developing a flexible show for our times due to tour in 2021-22. It’s tale of love, care and abuse.
Brian is having hawk problems, but he’s not the only one…
In 2019 Gabrielle was funded by Arts Council England to make a short (13’06”) documentary about her unique working process. Watch it below.
